ZivFin ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we collect, use, store, share and protect through the ZivFin website (zivfin.com) and related services (the "Service"), as well as your rights regarding such information. By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
We may collect the following categories of information. (1) Account information: name, email address, hashed password, country, profile picture. (2) Usage information: page views, clicks, search queries, watchlist tickers, comments and posts. (3) Device and connection information: IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, access time and time spent on each page, referrer URL. (4) Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14, and we will delete any such information promptly if it comes to our attention.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only: (1) providing and operating the Service (account authentication, watchlist, notifications, predictions, etc.), (2) improving service quality and developing new features, (3) preventing fraud and abuse and ensuring security, (4) complying with legal obligations and responding to disputes, (5) sending marketing or service announcements with your consent, (6) statistical analysis and traffic measurement. We may share certain information with the following processors solely for the purpose of providing the Service: (1) Supabase (database hosting), (2) Cloudflare (CDN and hosting), (3) Google AdSense / Google Analytics (advertising and analytics), (4) OpenAI (multilingual comment translation, with no personally identifiable information). All processors are contractually bound to data protection obligations and we maintain oversight responsibility for processing carried out on our behalf.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards including HTTPS encryption, password hashing, access controls and periodic security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Account information is deleted promptly upon account closure, except where retention is required by applicable law, in which case it is kept only for the legally required period.
